Gold supercars hit with parking tickets

Three of the fancy rides were hit with parking tickets. But we're guessing that the £320 (about $430) in fines is unlikely to dent his wallet.

A recent post on the account even shows a cheetah in the driver's seat.

Three of the cars forming the shiny fleet -- a Lamborghini Aventador, Mercedes G63 and Bentley Flying Spur -- were subjected to the fines.

The Lamborghini had two penalty notices slipped under its wiper blade while the Bentley and the Mercedes had one notice each, according to the Press Association.

A Rolls Royce, featuring the same gold vinyl and parked nearby, completes the fleet.

The luxury cars, which may be towed away, were parked in the Knightsbridge area, just yards away from a parking lot that costs £50 ($72) for 24 hours.

At £80 ($115) per fine, the bill has already reached £320, but the ower of the cars can cut that total in half if he pays within two weeks.

The six-wheel Mercedes is valued at £370,000 ($534,000) and the Lamborghini is worth around £350,000 ($506,000). The overall value of the fleet is estimated to top $1.8 million.
